1. This wonderful passage shows our Savior, 700 years before the incarnation, suffering and receiving honor and glory. Chad gives such pastoral encouragement in his meditation on this scripture.
  2. Psalm 18 is both a lament and a triumphant song of Christ's victory. Chad explains how we cannot lose when we bring all of our pain before our loving God.
  3. The day is soon coming when all of our earthly life will seem like a distant breath, though certainly today has plenty of blessings, and also concerns.
  4. Everything seems right - God has planted a vineyard and tended it, but then bad, stinky fruit emerges.
  5. A realistic and encouraging episode. If we seek peace alone, we will never find it, because only Christ is the Prince of Peace.
  6. Sins that lead to death, and sins that don't, but all sins are still sins.
  7. "Better than I deserve" is a statement rich with meaning for those of us who have heard the good news and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.
  8. That we are the "bride of Christ", this thought can get us confused and uneasy, as in "why would He want to have anything to do with me?"
  9. Glorious things await the bride of Christ. Chad meditates on the wondrous love Christ has for us, and our curious imaginations and interpretations of what Christ actually looks like.
