I may feel today that the Lord has not found me, but in fact he has – he is intimately acquainted with all my ways.

Our only claim to fame is that we have been claimed by a God who is consistently drawn to losers!
-
This Christmas season we are thankful that even though we “fallers” are unable to climb up to God, he came down the ladder to us.
-
By his initiative alone, he remakes our hearts to love him and others unselfishly.
-
In Christ, we live beneath an open heaven having the definitive proof in the cross of Christ that God is outrageously for us, not against us.
-
Because of my Advocate, there is no judgment or condemnation by God in my suffering.
-
What more could God do to prove to us that he is for us and not against us than to give his own Son into this fallen world to take the cross in our place, exchanging his righteousness for our many sins.
-
Christ has accomplished for us that which we could not do for ourselves – he has made us into his image by cleansing us of our sins and making us alive for eternity.
-
The Christmas King is the Son-of-God-King who stands as a forever reminder that as God, he is powerfully and eternally for us. Yet, this same King, who is also from David’s human offspring, is our human Brother.
-
The absolute best part of Christmas is that it is not flat at all, but in fact, it is very tall.
-
God sent his Son down into the hidden places of our dark and dirty world to find us, and to the cross to wipe away our sins forever. That is what this story is all about.
-
Because of Jesus, we are restored to a solid relationship with our Creator God. And, because he built it right, it will stand forever, whatever comes our way!
