Jim Nestingen was a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and held both a master of divinity and master of theology degree from Luther Seminary. He received his doctorate in theology from St. Michael's College, University of Toronto. Nestingen wrote and spoken prolifically on Luther's catechisms and confessional Lutheran theology. Baptized into Christ, he died in the LORD (2022), and will be raised to life eternal when Christ Jesus comes again. "For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his" - Romans 6:5.
