1. As the writer to the Hebrews affirms, what makes the Christian gospel so much better is that we are no longer dealing with “types and shadows."
  2. Who would ever want all these screamers and haters? It turns out that Christ does.
  3. The more awareness we have that we are weak and low and frail and incapable of doing this thing called life, the more perfectly we are positioned to meet the God of grace.
  4. For with God we look not for the order of nature, but rest our faith in the power of him who works.

  11. The love mentioned in 1 John 4:15-21 fourteen times (!) is a love that needs no apology but is determined at all times to sacrifice for the other.
  12. Logos theology is a theology of presence without division. It is a way of unification, of which the incarnation is the greatest visible example.
