  5. We do not choose our struggles, but there is One who has chosen to always be with us.
  6. His successes were not the result of his brilliance, might, and ability as an apostle. They were the result of the all-sufficient grace of God.

  9. This is the message of Lent. We are not called to sacrifice for Jesus in order to earn our salvation. Rather, we are called to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
