Easter (337)
  1. The end of the Easter season is a good time to remind ourselves that the Holy Spirit kindly stops by because the Messiah has triumphed over the Murderer.
  2. Forgiveness from Jesus is always surprising to us.
  3. All the contradiction turns to praise when we see how God has reconciled us through Jesus’ death and glorious resurrection.
  4. The vision orients our faith to the future, but it directs us in such a way that it provides deep comfort and hope in the present.
  5. When you live in a culture that capitalizes on quick fixes and sudden solutions, you can be tempted to approach God as if He were in the business of handing out momentary marvels.
  6. The earlier Christians, like us, experienced the struggle, but they knew how the fact of Jesus coming back from three days in the tomb meant every day of their life on this earth was a day framed and governed by His claim on life for His people.
  7. The women at the tomb were surprised by Easter. Amazed and filled with wonder at Jesus' Easter eucatastrophe. And so are we.
  8. We all have voices we listen to... and sometimes those voices are not trustworthy.
