Easter (22)
  1. The fact is all of Scripture is fulfilled for us in Christ. But the problem is, Peter was not referring to Christ fulfilling the Old Testament in this text. He was referencing the Old Testament as referring to Judas.
  2. The season of Easter pulses with the joy of God’s blessings in the resurrection of Christ.
  3. All the contradiction turns to praise when we see how God has reconciled us through Jesus’ death and glorious resurrection.
  4. One glorious resurrection day Jesus is going to lead this flock called the Church “through the valley of the shadow of death” to eternal life in His Kingdom forever.
  5. Is the mission and work of Jesus over now since He is no longer here, or does it go on?
  6. The work of Jesus did not stop! The mission of Jesus did not stop! Nothing can stop this new life through the Gospel!
  7. Through His death and resurrection Jesus will create a new community of mini-suffering servants founded on the righteousness that the Suffering Servant won for them.
  8. The tree of Calvary gives life which is seen in Jesus resurrected from the dead. Blessed are those who find their life and rest in Him.
  9. During the Easter season, our redemption as Christians is proof that God, in Christ alone, is all our righteousness and strength.
  10. Every Psalm is about adoration in Christ. This psalm, with its resounding, all-encompassing call to praise, forms a glorious doxology for our Easter preaching.
