1. Today, Maundy Thursday, we receive the feast of Christ’s true body and blood for us, for the forgiveness of our sins. All of them.
  2. How fitting that we have our feet washed by the very God from whom we once ran in terror and shame.
  3. Christ has come to make every last aspect of your life the object of his eternal, never-ending, always transitive grace.
  4. Easter must be seen in light of the cross. It must never overshadow Good Friday. They are a packaged deal!
  5. Great things are contained in these seemingly unimportant words: "Behold, your king." Such boundless gifts are brought by this poor and despised king.
  6. It is good to remember that this true story, is also beautiful.
  7. The Lord sees the blood of the Lamb upon us, but does not merely pass over us in mercy. He passes into us by grace.
  8. My one hope of not only entering a right relationship with God but also stepping into glory is the same: it’s Christ. It’s always Christ.
  9. All human wisdom, righteousness, and holiness are made futile in that which belongs to God’s kingdom.
  10. What grace is this? It’s grace from Christ, who often seizes us when we least expect it, even through the hands of His enemies.
  11. Lent means that we do not have to look to ourselves but can look to our neighbor in love as Christ has loved us.
