1. These others do not get much attention. We do not know their names. We do not know their back stories. But they were there on Easter morning, and Luke wants his readers to know it.
  2. The story is not over, however, when they put Jesus in the tomb. The sacrifice is complete, and Jesus is still active.
  3. Through His death and resurrection Jesus will create a new community of mini-suffering servants founded on the righteousness that the Suffering Servant won for them.
  4. The “alleluia” sustains itself and actively shapes the way in which we see ourselves and the world around us to say nothing of our Lord and God.
