1. We have to “remember” that God remembers us. He has not fallen away. For God to remember us means he is working for our good; a restoration.
  2. Paul thinks the consequences of Christ not being raised are worse for those who believe than those who never did if it were to be true Christ was not raised.
  3. Zephaniah has given us something more visceral to help us understand the love of God: the sound of salvation.
  4. I think the problem with the idea of eternity is that we do not have any direct experience of it, but we encounter enough of its possibility to be unsettling.
