1. Both now and forever, the bruised and crucified Lord nailed to a cross is our assurance of deliverance.
  2. The love mentioned in 1 John 4:15-21 fourteen times (!) is a love that needs no apology but is determined at all times to sacrifice for the other.
  3. Logos theology is a theology of presence without division. It is a way of unification, of which the incarnation is the greatest visible example.
  4. We can appreciate what we have received from God, we can receive it all as free gift, but only when we stop investing in fool's gold.
  5. To say that whoever loves has been born of God is also to say that those who are born of God are recipients of love. They do not have God because they love but because they are loved.
  6. We need to hear the gospel because it is good news that is not from you, or about you, or because of you.
  7. Christ is not an idea. He isn’t a concept. He isn’t a religious notion or sentiment. He isn’t a product. He is the Savior, flesh and blood.
  8. Jesus remakes us, rebuilds us, and resurrects us so the demons that hide in the cracks cannot get ahold of us, the devil cannot break us, and hell will never know us.
  9. When we cry to the Lord in our trouble, he will send us a preacher with words that deliver us from destruction.
