  1. Daniel and Erick wrap up the 1 Peter in this episode. There is some discussion about ecclesiology and why Peter calls himself an elder.
  2. Indeed, baptism is life because resurrection is life. Nothing short of regeneration—renewal of life—is accomplished by God through sheer grace because of Christ Jesus.
  3. Jesus names what life does not consist of, and in doing so he gets to something near and dear to our hearts as Americans—our possessions.
  4. These treasures show us that, no matter how well we think we know this poem, there’s always more layers to uncover.
  5. It turns out God is not a fan of lying. There are a lot of punishments that the law allows but rarely seem to be carried out.
  6. We are saved by God's grace, apart from our work – so why does obtaining God's wisdom require such work?
