1. מפתח - In that day I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and I will clothe him with your robe, and will bind your sash on him, and will commit your authority to his hand. And he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. ISAIAH 22:20–22
  2. שׁרשׁ - There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit... In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples—of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious. ISAIAH 11:1, 10
  3. צלמות - The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone. ISAIAH 9:2
  4. אמן - "If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all." ISAIAH 7:9
  5. שׂרפים - In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” ISAIAH 6:1–3
  6. הוי - Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! ISAIAH 5:20
  7. משׁפט - For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, an outcry! ISAIAH 5:7
  8. תורה - “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. ISAIAH 2:3
  9. סרר - How the faithful city has become a whore, she who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers. Your silver has become dross, your best wine mixed with water. Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. ISAIAH 1:21–23
  10. דודאים - Come, my beloved, let us go out into the fields and lodge in the villages; let us go out early to the vineyards... There I will give you my love. The mandrakes give forth fragrance, and beside our doors are all choice fruits, new as well as old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved. SONG OF SONGS 7:11–13
