  1. All That and A Bag of Chips. In this episode, we return to Steven Paulson’s book, The Outlaw God. We discuss law and Gospel, why God sends a preacher, why we hate Christ preached, and what therapy can do for the walking dead.
  2. Pentecost is far more than an event in the past. It is our present reality happening week in and week out.
  3. They were still praying, trusting, and hoping. Why? Because they knew who was with them and who was for them: the risen Christ.
  4. Real unity flows from the Gospel, where the love of God permeates our life together. And despite our petty differences, this gift continues to be given.
  5. The Church needs mystics again. Not fringe figures, but saints ablaze with love.
  6. On the one hand, we take up our cross and follow Him. On the other hand, however, Jesus has conquered this world.
  7. When you live in a culture that capitalizes on quick fixes and sudden solutions, you can be tempted to approach God as if He were in the business of handing out momentary marvels.
  8. The women at the tomb were surprised by Easter. Amazed and filled with wonder at Jesus' Easter eucatastrophe. And so are we.
