Epiphany (232)
  1. On Christmas morning many congregations sang Isaac Watts’ familiar hymn, “Joy to the World.” My home congregation was among them. I was already thinking about Epiphany and Matthew’s account of the magi as I sang, which is probably why the third verse caught my attention.
  2. In Adam and in us, life has been wrapped in death. But in Jesus, God has wrapped death in life.
  3. On episode FORTY of Let the Bird Fly! Wade and Mike get together to discuss the season of Epiphany.
  4. A star appears in the East. A spotlight over its Creator. A single constellation bows over that Light of Light from whom darkness flees.
