1. We need the Son of God, Jesus, to set us free. Not by the Law, not by a social gospel, but by the blood-mark of the Lamb and a sacred eating and passing through the sea of baptismal regeneration.
  2. God does not simply dismiss death. Instead, He actually takes it upon Himself and into Himself. He ingests, digests, and passes death so we might be spared from even tasting it.
  3. Only by faith can we believe the mystery that salvation in all it various forms comes through Jesus, the Son of Righteousness.
  4. The name of God invites us on a journey to see how God will remain present with his people, listen to their cries for salvation, know their sufferings in such an intimate way so as to incarnate them in Christ.
