Each week, we will reflect on a few of the theses leading up to this year’s Here We Still Stand Conference in October. Each post will also include a new translation completed by Caleb Keith.

Due to a listener request, Caleb and Dr. Keith dive into the Theology of the Cross via Forde's On Being a Theologian of the Cross.

Luther contends that even our best spiritual, theological, and moral efforts are insufficient to save us.

Ultimately, however, we find in the Heidelberg Disputation the root and core of Luther’s theology, which he would build and expound upon throughout his life.

As the story unfolds we see Luther’s Heidelberg theses on display, even before the Fellowship leaves Rivendell.
