TOPIC INDEXReformation Doctrine (23)
  1. Sometimes in hanging on to our useless guilt, we are idolaters. We believe our sin or conscience is more powerful than our God.
  2. Here's the king, but where's his crown? Craig and Troy discuss the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
  3. One at the right hand, and one on the left . . . but Jesus doesn't think that means what they think it means.
  4. Mary is blessed, because Mary knows the way God works and because she knows His promises, and she knows that in her womb grows her savior.
  5. Craig and Troy pick up where they left off last week and explore the spiritual meaning of the Reformation
  6. In contrast to the human courts of our land, the Divine court never makes errors nor excuses
  7. Through the Gospel of Matthew, Craig and Troy continue talking about the "two religions." One is firm, built on the rock of Christ. The other is unstable, built upon literally anything else.
  8. For the Galatians, adding circumcision to their faith in Jesus was their confidence. But adding anything to Jesus gets you nothing.
  9. Pastor Paul is perplexed over the presumptiveness of people of a pugnacious persuasion who consider themselves to be in a position to pass over the Gospel.
  10. So, look . . . if you want to rely upon works of the Law to lay claim to the title "child of God," you can't. To be under the Law is to be a slave, and slaves are not sons.
  11. Paul shows that the Law was never intended to save, but that salvation comes only through promise. The Law merely served as an instructor until the coming of the promised Christ.
  12. Paul has a full head of steam and runs into the ground the notion that we receive the Spirit by works instead of by grace. Instead, we are of Abraham, the man of Christ.
