  1. This is what baptism indicates. It is an identity with the victor. It is comforting that the enemies have no hold on me, on us.
  2. From the beginning of the biblical narrative to the end, God is a God of conversation and community. He speaks and He gathers. That is what God does. That is who God is.
  3. The Church does leave her mark on the nations wherein she resides but in many cases the Church survives and outlives the nation.
