New Testament (1430)
  1. Pentecost is far more than an event in the past. It is our present reality happening week in and week out.
  2. This Holy Spirit chooses to use the vehicle of real human language, of His almighty, energic, performative, and effective Word (Hebrews 4:12) to convict and to save.
  3. Real unity flows from the Gospel, where the love of God permeates our life together. And despite our petty differences, this gift continues to be given.
  4. By faith in Christ, the curse is lifted now. In hope, we wait for the curse to be lifted forever.
  5. The fact is all of Scripture is fulfilled for us in Christ. But the problem is, Peter was not referring to Christ fulfilling the Old Testament in this text. He was referencing the Old Testament as referring to Judas.
