Jake Allstaedt is the pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Williston Park, NY. He received his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 2011. His passions include preaching, teaching, working out, playing guitar, and tasty energy drinks. Jake and his wife, Christina, have a son named Roman.

Bradley Gray is the author of Finding God in the Darkness and the pastor of Stonington Baptist Church in Paxinos, PA, where he lives with his wife Natalie and their three children. His writing and research are especially focused on pastoral theology and the theological development of the Reformation. In all of his writings, Bradley aims to serve up the timeless truth of God's grace upon grace for every weary and worn-out sinner.

Scott Davis is a husband, father, magician, and pastor. He and his wife Leigh Anne live in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas with their five children, one dog, and one cat. Scott is the pastor of Hope Church Hot Springs, a small church that is affiliated with The Presbyterian Church in America.

Dominick Santore is a theological misfit landing in the area of Lutheranism. He has a deep appreciation for the truth of Scripture as defined by the Law/Gospel Distinction, and is grateful to know that Christ is for him even on his worst days. He is blessed with a wonderful wife and two awesome young men. He is a member of a Lutheran Brethren congregation in the NYC area where he lives and travels the area regularly, providing pulpit support where needed.

Mariah Coward is a wife, mother, and musician. She loves music and theology and the intersection between the two. She is wife to Daniel and mother to Clara and Amelie. She lives in Rogers, Arkansas.

From warfighter in Afghanistan, to pursuing a quiet, agrarian, pastoral life on the plains of the great State of Iowa, Brandon Hanson has found solace and purpose in the simple rhythms of pastoral, homesteading life with his wife and four children. After military service, and before farming and home churching, Brandon pursued a Master's in Pastoral Theology. Today, he shares the Word of God, teaching and worshipping with his family and anyone who will listen.

Haroldo Camacho is retired and lives with his wife, Mercedes, and son, Orlando, in Davie, Florida. He obtained his doctorate from the School of Theology at Claremont in 1991 and served many years as a Certified Court Interpreter with the Judicial Council of California. He has translated Luther’s Commentary on the Epistle to the Galatians (1535) to both Spanish and English. The English commentary is available through 1517 Publishing.

Larry D. Hughes is a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville, Kentucky where he serves as head elder. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University holding a degree in Geology and Chemistry. He is a contributor to the books "Wittenberg Confessions – Testimonies of Converts to Confessional Lutheranism" and "Theology of the Cross: Luther's Heidelberg Disputation & Reflections on Its 28 Theses."

Kyle is a husband, father, poet, and author. He graduated from Concordia University Texas and teaches eighth-grade writing at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in Milwaukee, WI. He co-authored The Sinner/Saint Lenten Devotional and The Sinner/Saint Devotional: Advent and Christmas. He is a contributor for 1517 and hosts the Haiku Daily podcast and newsletter.
