ContributorHayden Lukas is a singer-songwriter from Royal Oak Michigan. He started writing music when he learned to play the guitar in 6th grade, playing in a band with his best friend. Now as a PhD candidate in systematic theology at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, he writes essays and music that explore what it means to have hope in a complex and often dark world.
His musical influences include Sufjan Stevens, Jon Foreman, and the Killers. His scholarly influences are Alasdair MacIntyre, Eric Perl, and Stanley Hauerwas. He strives to have Roger Scruton influence both his music and his writing.
