Larry D. Hughes is a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville, Kentucky where he serves as head elder. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University holding a degree in Geology and Chemistry. He is a contributor to the books "Wittenberg Confessions – Testimonies of Converts to Confessional Lutheranism" and "Theology of the Cross: Luther's Heidelberg Disputation & Reflections on Its 28 Theses."

Kyle is a husband, father, poet, and author. He graduated from Concordia University Texas and teaches eighth-grade writing at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in Milwaukee, WI. He co-authored The Sinner/Saint Lenten Devotional and The Sinner/Saint Devotional: Advent and Christmas. He is a contributor for 1517 and hosts the Haiku Daily podcast and newsletter.

Joel Hess is blessed to serve in the heart of Chicago at St. James Lutheran Church & School. He is the husband of Julie and, the father of Henry & Sam.  In addition to preaching and teaching the Gospel to the found and lost, he spends his time painting, composing and performing music with various bands, writing short stories and poems, traveling, and generally burning both ends of the candle.

Bonnie is a wife, mother of three adult children and a Grammie to six grandsons. In her retirement years, she enjoys reading, walking in nature, particularly at Leesylvania State Park near her home in Virginia and sharing the Gospel, whenever and however she gets an opportunity.

Kathryn Morales holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College. She is the co-author of the Sinner/Saint Lenten Devotional and the Sinner/Saint Devotional: Advent & Christmas.

Peter Nafzger (Ph.D. Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO) is Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He is the author of "These Are Written: Toward a Cruciform Theology of Scripture."

Jason Lane (Th.D., University of Hamburg, Germany) is Assistant Professor of Theology at Concordia University, Wisconsin.

Jeffrey Pulse (STM, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN; PhD, University of Durham, England) is Professor of Exegetical Theology, director of Certification and Placement, and Director of Continuing Education at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. He is also the author of "Figuring Resurrection: Joseph as a Death and Resurrection Figure in the Old Testament and Second Temple Judaism" from Lexham Press.
