  1. Chad and Daniel wrap up the book of Joshua. Idolatry, the "good words" of God, and choosing who you will serve.
  2. Solomon asks for what is necessary to carry out this task, an understanding/wise and discerning mind.
  3. God doesn’t let His promises “fall” but fulfills them all for everyone. How does God having one plan for both Jews and Gentiles shape our eschatology?
  4. If the LORD is faithful to His Covenant—and He must be—then He will remember His people and take action.
  5. Forced labor, subdued land, and Shiloh.
  6. “God with Us”...is a common theme throughout Scripture: No one else has a God like ours, who is truly with His people.
  7. There is a lot about Caleb in this episode. He is older but no less ready to take the land God has promised them.
  8. Isaiah’s beautiful prophetic language describing the, “Coming of the Promised One,” is very familiar to us, but the challenge is always to determine to which coming of the Messiah Isaiah’s prophecy is pointing towards.
  9. Chad and Daniel get from Joshua to Revelation and spend a lot of this episode talking about Armageddon and the return of Christ.
  10. Isaiah 11:1-10 provides us with an Advent text capturing the beauty, excitement and reality of both the first coming of the Messiah and the second coming.
  11. Good guys, bad guys, horses, chariots, and sand on the seashore.
  12. Isaiah 2:1-5... is a beautiful eschatological prophecy focusing on the era of peace that comes along with the coming of the LORD.
