Old Testament (1214)
  1. Jesus is always interceding for us
  2. God does not simply dismiss death. Instead, He actually takes it upon Himself and into Himself. He ingests, digests, and passes death so we might be spared from even tasting it.
  3. God, Satan, and upright Job.
  4. God sees true beauty
  5. Lay down in peace.
  6. It was the death of David’s greater son who would die for his sin and our sin in order that we might know the mercy of God to cover all our sin and sour grapes.
  7. The close of Esther.
  8. The legacy of Jonah is troubled with most remembering him not for what he said but for what he did: run away.
  9. Both God and Ezekiel agree that the people are sinful, and God’s greatness is displayed in His mercy.
  10. God knows that when we face insurmountable odds in our moments of weakness, we are more likely to turn to him in trust and reliance.
  11. Haman and his gallows.
  12. Since we have heard the “suffering servant” has taken all our past sins upon Himself, it becomes very clear that the Lord is the one who will “have compassion... and He will abundantly pardon."
