  1. Is Proverbs 31 inspiring or burdening to women? Is it a passage that's just for women? What do you think when you think about Proverbs 31? Where is the gospel in this passage?
  2. We don't make Church "happen." Only Christ can do so. It's his happening.
  3. Nicodemus remained silent. He stopped talking. He stopped asking questions. And he listened. He simply listened to Jesus. It was his smartest move yet.
  4. Indeed, Jesus has come to rule the nations, but He will do this by submitting to His Father’s will, not Satan’s.
  5. Reading includes, on some level, striving. Hearing, on the other hand, remains passive.
  6. Jesus came not to overwhelm us with His majesty but to touch us with God’s love.
  7. For Jesus to be enforcing God’s Law seems strange to some people today, and it would have seemed strange to some people back then.
