Creation (5)
  1. The heavens are neither geocentric, nor even heliocentric, but Christocentric. It is the cross and the crucified and risen Jesus who has the whole world, and each of us, in his nail scarred hands.
  2. The doctrine of the Trinity is not so much the story of a “who-dunnit” as it is the story of the “who-is-it.”
  3. God’s creatures on four legs are some of the greatest storytellers of the Scriptures.
  4. Jesus is both the image bearer and the image giver. In Jesus’ incarnation we are redeemed and re-imaged.
  5. God preserves language so he might continue to communicate his love and grace to us, and that we might communicate his love and grace to others.
