As your Son felt the sting of death and separation from you

We remember that Christ rose to defeat all the evil in this world
That your Son, Jesus takes all our heartache, pain, and loss
And that everything that ever needed to be done has been done in Christ
Lord, we are grateful that you remember…

On this day, remind us that we are forgiven and free and that Jesus came for days like today
