Vocation (674)
  1. War is a plague, but sometimes it needs to be fought to protect from greater plagues.
  2. A discussion about avoiding danger at all costs, church, communion during the pandemic and other topics.
  3. "Move or die" is one of those “laws” we don’t like, but we have to admit, as harsh as it sounds, it is good for us. It helps us. Just don’t apply it to my faith.
  4. Today, by faith, we live free from condemnation, free from the fear of death, free from all slander the devil could whisper and scatter about us. In Him we have a new family, the family of the forgiven.
  5. Christ is Risen! So stop being a wuss. Get up and Go out! It will be ok. But first take a listen to the boys in black - Ringside Preachers
  6. In the upper room, Jesus revealed himself as the Lord of the dirty business of life.
  7. The show is about nothing! Gillespie and Riley read nothing in this episode. Instead, it’s pastoral care debrief about the quarantine, worship, and how to balance faith and love.
  8. In all of the good or bad that may have come out of the current mess that the world is in due to coronavirus, I see at least one good thing happening. The daily social media feed has been full of pictures, quotes, and videos of ordinary people praising other ordinary people for just doing their job.
  9. Grace is about God’s choice when we cannot by our own reason or strength choose Christ or come to Him.
  10. Big, fancy words and big, fancy ideas are thrown around, but what Craig and Troy try to simply say is that the Word of God turns us to Christ and not to ourselves. Where God's Word neither commands nor condemns, our lives and choices are free in the Gospel.
  11. Sin will constantly break our hearts, but God's love in Christ Jesus will give us new hearts daily, in the abundance of his forgiving grace. This is love in its purest form, and he has overcome the world.
  12. Joseph was not the father of Jesus, but then again, he was. Jesus was the true offspring of the heavenly Father, but even the Son of God needed a daddy.
