Life of Christ (8)
  1. You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away. In this episode, we read the Outlaw God and discuss the hidden life of a Christian. How are Christians to understand the living Word, or Christ crucified before Adam and Eve, or being called into vocations that serve the kingdom of life rather than a culture of death?
  2. Belief at Christmas is neither neat nor safe. It is the path that leads to the manger and, from there, to the cross.
  3. This day and its meaning provided the opportunity for an anonymous author to write a poem for Sheer Thursday about Judas' betrayal of Jesus.
  4. We are the fruit that grows from the branch, which extends from the trunk of the tree, which is rooted in the soil that it grows out of, which is all Christ.
  5. Jesus weeps because his heart pulses with furious rage and fierce love.
  6. That's how true faith talks. It doesn't talk about itself. It says "Thank you!" to the one who gives healing and salvation.
  7. At Christmas, we hear the story of our salvation, but it’s not pretty.
  8. The text says there was no room for them. And this should give us cause for a little head-scratching.
