The Faith We Share: The Apostles Creed as Consolation and Conversation
Event Date
October 05 - 06, 2019
This Saturday morning Men's workshop is hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica, Michigan. 9a-12p
Dr. Dan van Voorhis will use resources from the podcast he produces, “the Soul of Christianity” to explore how the ancient faith is as relevant as ever, with an emphasis on the faith we share- that is, hold in common and communicate with others.
Dr. van Voorhis, a history professor with degrees in both history and theology will examine the Christian faith we share in a conversational and relevant approach as we look at a foundational document confessed by Christians for over 1500 years.
All men are invited to attend this two session workshop and participate in a Q&A session about the historical Christian faith, and how we might make it relevant for our faith and our community today.
