  2. Is This The Real Life... In this double-length episode, Riley and Gillespie ask what are the consequences for not grounding our preaching, teaching, prayer, and worship in concrete reality as revealed by God’s Word of law and Gospel?
  3. Using common everyday events, Carnell sought to clarify that there are three standards of duty that we demand others to respect to protect our dignity.

  5. Sorry, racism, ethnic clashes, cultural differences, are nothing new to the world or the church. Listen to these fools talk about Galatians, racism, and Christianity. Also, a little Smalcald Articles on the Gospel!
  6. So, look . . . if you want to rely upon works of the Law to lay claim to the title "child of God," you can't. To be under the Law is to be a slave, and slaves are not sons.
  7. Before you object that what we need is change - not salvation - let me remind you that our shouts for change are evidence of our need for a savior.
  8. When the old Adam hears a command, he hears a prescription. Like a coach drawing up a play so you can win the game.
  9. The gospel does not proclaim the results of our practical reasoning about things we experience, but the horror of God crucified for our sins and at our hands.
  10. Paul shows that the Law was never intended to save, but that salvation comes only through promise. The Law merely served as an instructor until the coming of the promised Christ.
