1. He represents our likeness, fulfills it, and so has the prerogative to reproduce his likeness in us.
  2. Their interest in the one who had been raised turned to the One who did the raising. And meeting Jesus did not leave them unaffected.

  8. In prayer, hymns, and readings we hear the great paradox of our faith: Christ is proclaimed the mighty King who reigns, not by way of the so-called “triumphal entry,” but from the cruciform tree of life, the Cross of Calvary.
  9. We believe, not on account of what we saw or felt or because of any physical evidence, but we believe on account of the Word which came true!
