1. We are given, so we give thanks, and we give thanks by giving.
  2. Meanwhile our heroine, mild-mannered Ruth, gathers the gleanings to provide for her mother-in-law. But who is this mysterious God-sent stranger?

  9. As we judge and demand payment from one another, we fashion a world not only skeptical of forgiveness, grace, and mercy... but downright opposed to it.
  10. There is true help in the midst of our pain. Someone who suffered as we suffer, who embraced all our pain in his suffering and death on a cross.

  12. “What must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus answers that question with a parable. We have our own question: “Who am I in this parable?” But a better question is “Who is Jesus for me in the parable?”
