  1. The kind of love we crave, that we will go to any lengths to find, is already present for us here and now. The Lord's love for us reaches into our hearts and soul.
  2. No matter how great our thirst is, God's abundance not only meets it but quenches it. When we are poor and in need, the Lord is always there to give us grace and mercy without end.
  3. "Whom shall we fear?" We fear no one. We're not afraid of anything. Instead, we wait for the Lord with good courage. He will strengthen our hearts, as the psalmist writes (Ps 27:1).
  4. The wisdom of God became man, lived, died, and was raised for the justification of sinners, great and small.
  5. This is an excerpt from “Crucifying Religion” written by Donavon Riley (1517 Publishing, 2019).
  6. Everything normal for the Church of Christ is abnormal for those who reject Jesus as Savior. We worship a God who creates new life... and who gives His blessing, declaring, "I am pleased with you."
  7. What greater friend could we have than Jesus?
  8. The power of God's Word is nothing like human power. People exercise power through force and violence. God's Word manifests His power through humility, service, and self-sacrifice.
  9. We already know how the war will conclude. Jesus wins.
  10. As the storm waves of life crash into us, threatening to pull us down into the undertow of sin, Jesus comes and stands between us and the furious tides.
  11. Zipporah and Moses were bound by blood. More than that, God and Moses were bound by blood.
