About Event

Gretchen Ronnevik returns to speak at Water's Edge Lutheran Church for the Women's Spring Retreat on April 23-25, 2021. Gretchen will be addressing how a hope is discovered outside ourselves, that will not put us to shame. Using both the Psalms and Romans, Gretchen will share where true endurance is found when our lives are shaken.

Gretchen Ronnevik

Gretchen loves writing about rich theology rooted in real life. She’s authored a training coursefor intergenerational mentoring called Gospel Mentoring. Gretchen also co-hosts the podcastFreely Given as a part of the 1517 Podcast network. It’s a conversation about the freedom thatcomes through dependence on Christ.

Gretchen is a mother to six children who are quickly growing into adults. Her family lives in western Minnesota. Gretchen works as a writer and enjoys knitting, reading many books at once, and embarrassing her teenagers in public.
