About Event

Beginning on Friday, Nov 11 at 7p  and continuing on Saturday, Nov 12 from 10a - 3p,  St. John's Waltz will host Daniel Emery Price and Erick Sorensen for a weekend of wonderful teaching about Jesus and the parables He told.

Parable are some of the most familiar stories in the Bible, yet their interpretations and application are anything but uniform. Join us as we look at some of Jesus' most famous stories and discover they are full of grace, forgiveness, and the Kingdom of God.

Please contact the church for more details.   All are welcome!

Daniel Emery Price

Daniel Emery Price

Daniel Emery Price is the Operations Executive at 1517, where he helps lead the organization’s mission to proclaim the Gospel clearly and creatively. He’s a frequent speaker, author, and co-host of 40 Minutes in the Old Testament and 30 Minutes in the New Testament. A former church planter, pastor, and worship leader, Dan brings a caring heart and a storyteller’s voice to everything he does. He lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife and two daughters, and when he’s not writing or podcasting, he’s likely in the stands watching his kids run track or hit the hardwood. He’s also a devoted Razorbacks fan and a former touring musician, though these days the stage is mostly the podium or the podcast mic.
