Book Description: An alcoholic falls off the wagon—again. A devoted family man confesses an affair. A lifelong Christian battles uncontrollable anger. The ongoing presence of sin in believers is unsettling, but the truth is universal: we’re not as good as we wish we were.
What does this mean for those caught between redemption and sin’s pull? Sinner Saint explores the paradox of the simul—that we are at once sinners and saints—held in the grip of God’s grace. At the cross, God lays our failures to rest. We are forgiven, free, and loved beyond reason by the God who buries our old selves and raises us to new life.
