Joshua Miller is the pastor of Jehovah Lutheran Church (LCMS) in St. Paul, Minnesota and an adjunct professor of theology at Concordia University, St. Paul. He is the author of "Hanging by a Promise: The Hidden God in the Theology of Oswald Bayer" and a co-author of "Promising Faith for a Ruptured Age: An English-Speaking Appreciation of Oswald Bayer."
The story being told in the film is not Bonhoeffer’s story. It’s not the Confession Church’s story. Nor is it the story of the German resistance against Hitler. It is a completely fictional story of Hollywood.
