  3. Rod Rosenbladt, the encourager of all things good, true, and beautiful and a tireless warrior for Jesus and the Gospel message, finally rests at the marriage feast of the lamb.
  4. He declared you what you might not always feel you are, but what you were from the moment he knew you, before you were you, when he foreknew you.
  5. He shows up when we are at our worst to usher us back to his side, lead us to repentance, rescue us, and reclaim us as his own.
  6. We are the fruit that grows from the branch, which extends from the trunk of the tree, which is rooted in the soil that it grows out of, which is all Christ.
  7. The more I got to know Dr. Rosenbladt, the more I saw that he wasn’t a man divided.
  8. He was rooted in his own tradition but gracious with others when they wanted to learn about his faith or their own.
  9. Anyone could tell he enjoyed teaching theology and loved his students.
  10. One way or another, Rod always found a way to bring whatever story he was telling back to the gospel and God's grace in Christ.
  11. In a world—and even a church—full of distractions, thank God for Rod Rosenbladt. He pointed us to Jesus and Jesus alone.
  12. Christ's resurrection does not merely negate the bitterness of sin; it changes it into a source of divine sweetness, embodying the promise of a new life for us and a restored existence overshadowed by heavenly hope.
